If you require health care support, we can provide the following services:

  • Referral and support for access to public health services.
  • Referral and companionship to private health services and second opinions.
  • Medicine.
  • Birth control.
  • Information on how to prevent and care for your physical wellbeing.
  • Information on how to prevent and care for your sexual and reproductive health.

Educational Services

If you require support to go to school, resume your studies or revalidate prior studies, we can provide the following services:

  • Referral and companionship to access formal basic education (primary, secondary and high school).
  • School supplies for formal basic education (primary and secondary).
  • Stipend for school supplies for basic education.
  • Referral and companionship for access to revalidation studies.
  • Adult education programs.

Job Opportunities

If you require support in securing gainful employment or improving your skills, we can provide you with the following services.

  • Referral and support to access employment.
  • Referral and companionship to job offers.
  • Assistance in developing non-formal job skills (CV, application, computer skills)
  • Referral and companionship to job training.
  • Materials for job training.

Support for Community Integration

We can support you with services that improve your daily life and provide access to various benefits offered by institutions, such as:

 

 

  • Referral and companionship to governmental and non-governmental social programs.
  • Food and lunch at the Day Center.
  • Travel allowance.
  • Recreational services: playroom for children; recreational room for teens and adults; intercultural library.
  • Free Wi-Fi.
  • Free telephone access.
  • Advice for daily life in Mexico (use of currency, public transport or other topics).
  • Fieldtrips and activities.
  • Green areas.

Spanish Lessons

In the event of not being fluent in Spanish and if you wish to learn, we provide the following services:

  • Spanish classes for foreigners.
  • Socio-cultural conversation.
  • Referral and scholarships for learning Spanish at the UNAM's Educational Center for Foreign Students

Mental Health Care

In the event of needing support to improve your mood or just want to blow off steam, we provide the following services:

  • Individual psychological services.
  • Group services.
  • Referral and support for access to public psychological and psychiatric care services.
  • Referral and companionship to private psychological and psychiatric services.
  • Payment for psychiatric medicine.

Humanitarian Assistance

If you have difficulty meeting your most basic needs, we provide the following services:

  • Food allowance.
  • Shelter support and referral.
  • Personal hygiene items.
  • Clothes.
