Sin Fronteras is a non-profit organization founded by social activists and academics in 1995 in response to an urgent need to address the international migration situation from a comprehensive point-of-view that guarantees respect for human rights and promotes the improvement of living conditions for migrants, refugees and their families, especially for those who travel irregularly.
In 1995, Non-Profit focused on advocacy work such as democracy or human rights of migrants from a welfare perspective and government authorities addressed the issue inadequately. As a result, the profile of our organization was essential to start providing localized assistance, to pave the way for the targeted population as well as designing and implementing political programs in support of migrants and refugees.
Sin Fronteras is a Mexican non-profit, non-partisan, secular agency that contributes to the promotion, protection and defense of the human rights of migrants and those subject to international protection in order to dignify their living conditions by direct attention and advocacy within the public agenda.
Sin Fronteras is a professionalized, sustainable, consolidated and leading institution on migration and asylum issues that has a solid integral intervention model with a human rights approach that brings together parties to advocate for and promote the autonomy of its target population.
