
Leticia is a researcher and professor at the Instituto Mora in Mexico City. She has a PHD in Social Sciences from FLACSO and an undergraduate degree and post-graduate degree in Sociology from the UNAM. She is a member of the Mexican Academy of Science and of the National System of Researchers (SNI). She coordinates the group on xenophobia of the RED INTEGRA of the CONACYT. She has published about twenty articles in specialized magazines and books and three books as an author or coordinator: La Dimensión Política de la Migración Mexicana, Votar en la Distancia and Los súper héroes no existen, análisis de la primera elección en el exterior mexicana (“The Political Dimension of Mexican Migration, Distance Voting and Superheroes Don't Exist, Analysis of Mexico's First Foreign Election”). As a citizen activist, she is President of the Board of Trustees of the non-profit organization Sin Fronteras I.A.P., a member of Return Migrants to Mexico/Other Dreamers in Action (Migrantes de retorno a México/Otros Dreamers en Acción). She also organizes and disseminates the digital platform of Migrantologos www.migrantologos.mx www.migrantologos.mx
Genoveva has a PHD in International Economics and Development from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid, M.A. degree in International Relations and Degree in Economics from National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). She is a "B" Researcher at the Instituto de Investigaciones Económicas, UNAM, where she forms part of the Political Economy of Development Research Unit. She has coordinated national and international research projects on the subject of international migration, women in migration and remittances from indigenous migration. She teaches at the UNAM at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, lecturing on economics and economic geography, and is a member of the cadre of tutors for the postgraduate courses in Latin American studies and economics. Among his recent publications is the book "Las odiseas de Penélope. Feminización de las migraciones y derechos humanos" (“The Odysseys of Penelope. Feminization of Migration and Human Rights”). She is a member of the National System of Researchers (SNI), Level I and President of the Board of Trustees of Sin Fronteras IAP. In March 2019, she was awarded the "Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz" Medal for Academic Merit.
Alfredo has a PHD. in Social Sciences and has been a university professor since 1992 in the area of gender studies, intervention in socio-cultural diversity and education/systematization of human rights advocacy. Additionally, he is a lecturer in the Master's Program in Interdisciplinary Gender Studies at UACJ, where he has also coordinated Inter-institutional Human Rights Education courses. Alfredo is co-director of the UACJ Observatory on Social Violence, Gender and Human Rights and has coordinated various undergraduate, graduate and research university programs. He is an author/co-author of seven books and several articles and chapters published in the country and/or abroad.
Full-time Professor-Researcher at the Center for the Study of Demographics, Urban and Environmental Issues (CEDUA), EL Colegio de México. Manuel is a member of the Academic Body on Migration; Director of the journal Estudios Demográficos y Urbanos and Coordinator of Publications at CEDUA. National Researcher of the National System of Researchers (SNI). Member of the Mexican Academy of Sciences. Research topics: Immigration in Mexico; Central American migrations: trends, impacts and perspectives; borders and their socio-political dimension; migration and violence in Guatemala; migration policies in the North and Central American region; discrimination, xenophobia and racism in migration contexts; migration and security.
Fabienne has worked for the past 19 years on migration, asylum and human rights issues. Her work has focused on promoting effective access to human rights for migrants and refugees; dialogue between governments, international organizations, academia and non-profit organizations; the construction and consolidation of non-profit networks and how to develop the skills needed to participate in the development of public policies. She has a degree in sociology and ethnology. She was the founder and director of Sin Fronteras IAP from 1996 to 2008. Prior to that, she was coordinator of the Human Rights Studies Program and national consultant for the Regional Office in Mexico of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. She has been a resident fellow at the Center for Inter-American Studies and Programs of ITAM and is currently a member of the Guatemala - Mexico Group on Migration and Development, the Advisory Council of the Central American Institute for Social Studies and Development, and the Governing Council of Incide Social, A.C. She is also a member of the Advisory Board of Pro DESC and the Security and Democracy Collective. She is currently the Director of the Institute for Studies and Dissemination of Migration (Instituto de Estudios y Divulgación sobre Migracion A.C.).
Rodolfo has a PhD in Economics from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He is the former Director of the Department of Development Studies at the Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas and is a specialist in international migration, remittances and regional rural development. He was Director of the Department of Economics and Academic Secretary of the Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas.
Presently, he is a member of the National System of Researchers, Level II. Member of the Mexican Academy of Political Economy, examiner and advisor to the National Council of Science and Technology, CONACYT. Member of the Board of Trustees of Sin Fronteras IAP, and of the Board of Trustees of INEDIM, member of the Citizen Council of the National Institute of Migration. He taught at the Colegio de la Frontera Norte (Mexico), the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, the Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económica, and the Universidad Central y Autónoma de Barcelona, La Coruña, Valencia, Almería and Seville, Spain. He was the recipient of the Ifigenia Martínez 2016 Master Economy Award, Department of Economics, UNAM.
PhD in Social Science with a major in Sociology from El Colegio de México. Since 1998, she has been a researcher at El Colegio de la Frontera Sur (Ecosur). Currently, she is a member of the Academic Group on Migration Studies and Cross-Border Processes, Department of Society and Culture, Ecosur, San Cristóbal de Las Casas, Chiapas, and a member of the board of Sin Fronteras I.A.P.

At El Colegio de la Frontera Norte he has been General Academic Secretary, Director of the Department of Population Studies, Director of Graduate Studies, General Director of Liaison and interim President. He is currently Professor-Researcher and Director of the Department of Population Studies. He was president of the Mexican Society of Demography 2002-2004; member of the Citizen Population Advisory Council for Population Policy; member of the Advisory Council of the National Institute of Migration; founding member of the Institute of Studies and Dissemination on Migration, A.C., and member of the board of the International Community Foundation (FIC), member of the board of Sin Fronteras I.A.P. His main area of study is population and development of the U.S.-Mexico border.
